Session 4: A Storm is Coming

Image
Opening: Chloe woke in her rented room at the Waterin' Hole, only to find a drunk Dustborn Sympathizer starting trouble in the saloon. She subdued him and recovered: - A Dustborn totem (bone-laced) - A bowie knife - A vial of hallucinogen identified as Buzzdrip (via Old Tess) Midday: Chloe ventured into the Shanty Bazaar and reunited with Raine, an old friend from Tolerance and an NCR Ranger. They discussed: - Chloe's recent encounters with the Dustborn - The fall of Shady Sands and NCR disillusionment - Raine gave Chloe AM radio frequency 88.7 to stay in contact Afternoon: Dr. Stack was seen chasing a runaway patient. Chloe pursued and tackled the man, scoring two critical successes. Stack, clearly on chems, begged for her help. She agreed-on the condition he detox. Stack is now a medical contact. Evening: Back at the Waterin' Hole, Chloe saw Big Tino dunking the earlier sympathizer in the brahmin trough. The sympathizer spoke cryptically about the Ash Daughter wanting Ch...

Session 3: The Glass Eye

Image
Fresh off their return from the Dustborn convoy, Chloe Rogers and Big Tino are approached by Marble Joe - mute, eccentric, and obsessed with glass marbles. Using written notes and gestures, Joe explains that a prized item was stolen from him: a milky glass "eye" now believed to be in the hands of the Night Howlers, a pack of chem-addled raiders holed up in a canyon east of Needles. Chloe and Tino set out on foot. Along the way, they encounter a Brotherhood of Steel recon patrol. Chloe, familiar with the East Coast Brotherhood, greets them with an "Ad Victoriam" and passes an influence check, earning cautious respect. Scribe Vella discreetly asks Chloe to keep an eye out for a missing Brotherhood team - and specifically, a scorched helmet bearing a double-chevron. As they scout Red Hollow, Chloe spots the Glass Eye inside Witchjaw's shack, and nearby, the bloodied remains of a Brotherhood Scribe in a drainage maintenance tunnel. Chloe recovers a holotape and dog ...

Session 2: The Tap Runs Dry

Image
Chloe Rogers and Big Tino left Needles on foot, heading east toward Kingman under a rising Mojave  sun. Along the way, they encountered a bizarre radio shack built from a wrecked school bus. Inside,  Chloe discovered a flickering AI core, broadcasting her name on repeat. Upon touching it, she  experienced a vision-herself in a Vault 207 labcoat, whispering warnings about something awakening.  Rattled, she packed the AI core and continued east. At the burned-out water convoy near Kingman, they found Brahmin bones shaped into a Dustborn altar  and the water purification chip hidden beneath wreckage. But signs of a captive led them to press  onward, into a canyon. There, they found a Dustborn shrine, guarded by four masked cultists. A bound NCR courier was held  in a ritual circle. Chloe executed a silent rescue with precision, slipping through the ritual  fire's shadows and freeing the prisoner-Corporal Jen Reyes-without alerting the cultists. The R...

Session 1: The Road to Wasteville

Image
The desert wind had just begun to cool as Chloe Rogers stepped into the Waterin' Hole, the  flickering "BIG GIRLS" sign buzzing behind her. With no caps and grief in her eyes, she made her  way to the bar where Old Tess sized her up with one look. Chloe didn't lie-she had lost someone.  Tess, no stranger to sorrow, poured her a drink and slid it across the counter without a word. When Chloe asked about work, Tess handed her a rag, a tray, and a warning. Thus began "Bar Rag & Razor"-an honest night's labor in a dishonest place. Chloe served drinks with grace and earned a hefty 20-cap tip. She cooled off a fight between Big  Tino and a caravan guard by defusing the tension with words and coin. Dice McCray took notice,  offering her a future opportunity. She comforted and protected Mina from a leering drunk and  received a strange Dustborn totem sketch as thanks. In the bathhouse, Chloe discovered a Dustborn  acolyte poisoning the saloon's water...
